Paralympic Committee of India has supported a number of individual athletes in their Paralympic quest. Our support has intended to provide paralympic athletes the best chance of reaching their potential in IWAS World Games 2009 – Bengaluru - INDIA.

In the prologue to the IWAS Games, we have integrated a sequence of activities into our much society around the world to facilitate and develop a greater understanding of the Paralympic spirit, encouraging people to focus not on an athlete's disability, but their sporting competency.

Many Paralympians will compete in IWAS World Games – 2009 - Bangalur - INDIA, each of whom have sacrificed years of hard work and dedication to reach this moment. We wish all competitors well for the coming days and look forward to celebrating their remarkable achievements.
