We in Paralympic Committee of India believe

Paralympic sport is the ideal means to promote the integration of physically challenged people. Paralympic Sports can help them overcome their disability by strengthening their self-esteem and their ability to overcome difficulties and as an aid to normalisation in their living environment.

Sultan Ahmed

we encourage all physically challenged to get involved in different sports and physical activities. You too can become a privileged paralympic athlete and take part in competitions ranging from school sports to elite level championships for the Paralympic Games. The Paralympics seem a perfectly reasonable idea. They allow disabled athletes to compete in events better suited to their needs. They can highlight the bravery of some athletes who have overcome crippling injury or disease and gone on to train to a high standard. In short, Paralympic sport helps to bring about the complete fulfilment of physically challenged athletes.

I would like to thank all of the PCI's member organisations and strong dedication from our staff and volunteers, My sincere thanks to the team and volunteers, Together in playing such a vital role within the Paralympic Movement.
