Before commencement of the camp athletes have to give trials which will be recorded.

Concentrating on physical fitness along with techniques will be the prime aim of this first phase of the training

Training for full fitness using the athletes main techniques .

( Techniques are given importance in this phase of the training )

 

Perfection of techniques with full work outs for the athletes.

More work loads are given to athletes with checking their performance

 

More work loads and techniques are given together depending on the capacity of the athlete

 

This phase of schedules is reserved for the training cum competitions and pre games competitions
( foreign exposure)
& few weeks training after competition

 

Training the athletes to their best with techniques, work outs, competition,
Time trials / distances etc.

 

Training in the final phase of the training will be to reach the optimum performance and results oriented


  • Suggested to have one foreign coach if any one is trained to coach the physically challenged.
  • Suggested to have competitions once in every two months which should include 2 - 3 weeks foreign training - cum - competition. Specially during July and August 2012 Training should be in India only.
  • All the athletes should be under PCI training camps only. Too many personal coaches should not be encouraged.
  • Suggested to put up training camps in 4 disciplines viz., Athletics, Swimming, Power lifting and Fencing should be at Bangalore centre only and Shooting to be in Delhi.
  • Day to day training schedules can be drawn after a thorough discussion of the chief coach with other head coaches of the respective disciplines.
