The table tennis star became the first Indian Paralympian to be assured of a medal in Tokyo after she reached the semi-finals of the Class 4 event on Friday. In a historic win, Patel beat defending champion Borislava Perić-Ranković from Serbia in straight games 11-5, 11-6, 11-7.
