Postponement of IV Indian Open National Para Athletics 2022 Bengaluru

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
The Visa for the Technical Delegate Mr. Okry Nonvigon has not been granted by the Indian embassy located at his place.The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has suggested to postpone the event until a new Technical delegate is finalised and deputed for this purpose.Without the Technical Delegate the event will not have an International Status.
In view of the above it is requested that all athletes and officials proceeding to this event may be informed so that they do not travel to Bengaluru for this Championship. Next date shall be intimated in due course probably on 19th and 20th August, Arrival by 18th August.
It may also be noted that Athletes who have booked their Air Ticket/Train Ticket and are now required to cancel the same may approach PCI for refunding the cancellation fees incurred, provided the proof of document is sent while requesting for the refund.
Entry fees remitted towards the IV Indian Open National Para-Athletics Championship of Rs.20,000 holds good for the same to be held shortly.
This has the necessary approval of the President and Secretary General PCI.
